To add the calendar to your Google Calendar:

Open Google Calendar on your computer (calendar.google.com). On the left menu, under "Other Calendars" press the "+" sign (add other calendars) and choose "From URL" from the menu that pops up. Paste in the URL from the list above (ending in .ics). You can add as many as you want.

Note that I can't find an easy way to add calendars in the Google Calendar app on my iPhone directly. You can open the calendar.google.com site in your iPhone's browser, then select the "desktop" site (link is at the bottom of the monthly view), and follow the instructions above. If someone knows a better way, please let me know!

To add the calendar to your Calendar App on your Mac or iPhone:

iPhone: Open the Calendar app. Choose “Calendars” at the bottom of the app window, then “Add Calendar” and “Add Subscription Calendar” and paste in the URL above (the one ending in .ics)  for the calendar that you want to add.

Mac: Choose File→ New Calendar and paste in the URL (the one ending in .ics) for the calendar that you want to add

Note: Where to find these .ics files for yourself in Scoutbook Plus : On the monthly calendar view, there is a key at the bottom that shows your calendars. After each calendar in the key (e.g. Pack 255, each Pack 255 den), there is a "Subscribe" link in red. When you click this, you can copy the link to the file. This file only downloads the events already in Scoutbook Plus; it doesn't subscribe your calendar app (Google or iCal) to updates.

3. Record Advancement

Advancement includes all the activities your Scout does to meet the requirements for their rank. When they complete each Adventure, cub scouts get belt loops (pins for Webelos) for each adventure, and once all their adventures are done, they earn their badge for their rank.

Everything you need to know about the requirements is in your scout's Handbook. Every year we give you a new handbook for your den.

Some requirements you MUST do with your own scout: Protecting your Child from Abuse and the Duty to God Adventure for your Den

Use the Advancement link on your Scoutbook Dashboard to check off requirements as you do them with your Cub Scout. Your Den leader will then approve these.

4. Register as a leader

Our Pack needs you! Being a Den Leader means helping to guide the Cubs through the adventure activities. All the information you need is in the Handbook and online. No experience required!  Start by taking Youth Protection Training and then applying online to our Pack. Easy step-by-step Instructions are linked here.
