About Pack 255

What is Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting is a year-round program designed for girls and boys in kindergarten through 5th grades. The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Most of all, it emphasizes fun.

How Does it Work?

The program is run by parent volunteers who are supported by a great network of training, program development, and materials provided by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The Pack is made up of Dens, which are groups of girls and boys in the same grade. The Dens stay together as the Cubs grow older, progressing through each year of the ranks within Cub Scouts.

About Pack 255

Cubs attend approximately two meetings and go on one outing per month.

The Pack meets once per month at 6:30pm at the Chevy Chase United Methodist Church at 7001 Connecticut Avenue. Each Den also meets once per month and goes on outings together as a small group.

Pack 255 is part of the Boy Scouts of America, National Capital Area Council, Potomac District. Our Chartering Organization is Chevy Chase United Methodist Church.
